Buttons, Buttons and a More Buttons

I’ve been so busy with work and looking for an apartment that I’ve neglected the blog again, but what else is new?

 

 

In the last week I’ve ordered about 4500 buttons from Ebay for the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and possibly the hair pieces. Ebay is a gold mind for bulk buttons, from estate sales to crafters to Hong Kong sellers.

I bought a bunch of really neat looking buttons from a Hong Kong seller and a few cool blue mixes and tiny whites since those are great toppers. I also scored this crazy set (see the upper right photo in the collage) that is 3lbs of buttons, which she said was 3000-4000 buttons for $45.

 

 

I went to Joanns and found this cute little holder on 40%. I have the blue in one, white in one and the bottom bucket has a divided so I put gold and specialty buttons.
